Cricket Sessions
Years R, 1, 2 and 3 have been enjoying weekly cricket sessions with experienced cricket coach Mr Platt. We have been practicing our throwing and catching skills as well as out fielding and batting skills. Here are some pictures of the fun we have had.
Reception 3rd May 2019
It’s been a really exciting week in Reception class this week. We discovered a nest in our vegetable plot. This led to lots of discussions about who had laid the eggs and where had the Mummy gone? The children were very good at taking responsibility for the eggs and even decided to put a pillow in the nest to make them comfortable and a blanket to keep them warm. That evening Mrs Dazeley noticed them changing colour and so phoned the scientist to come and take a look. They said that they would have to take them away to help them hatch but luckily they sent us a video of an egg hatching and we discovered that inside was a baby raptor!
