Some firemen came to visit Nursery with their fire engine and we were very lucky as we got to have a look around it too. We all sat in the back and some of us had a go at putting one of their helmets on. We even got to have a go with the hose!

Making Slippers
The children have really enjoyed researching, designing and making a slipper.It has been a really fun project and I have a feeling that some of the children will be sewing more in the future!
Year 2 Trip to Norwich
Year 2 had a lovely day visiting Norwich Cathedral and the Bridewell Museum. Even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits!!! After a ride and snack on the train we had a lovely walk along the riverside to Norwich Cathedral. We visited Edith Cavell’s grave and her memorial. We then walked to the Bridewell museum where the children could dry off and eat their lunch. We had a great time looking around the museum, I thoroughly recommend visiting for yourselves if ever you get the chance. Thank you very much to Mrs Allen, Mrs Roberts, Mrs Whiting and Mrs Jones for their help today.
It was tiring but really fun!
