Hello everyone,

My name is Miss Plane and I am going to be the new nursery manager starting from September. I'm super excited to get to know each and everyone of you!

For the autumn term, we focussing on the topic: All About Me

This topic will help the butterfly class learn a little bit about themselves, their friends and so much more! For the first full week in Nursery, we will be having a look at creating a self portrait, seeing what kind of features we have on ourselves and bringing that to life with our masterpieces. I'm sure you all will be keen to see the inner artist that your child has become!

Please could I encourage you to bring in a family photo for us to display on our 'My Family and Me' display board. With this display, this will encourage the children to talk about ourselves and our families and bring the Nursery closer as a group.

The nursery team and I can't wait to welcome back our children to the nursery who have been with us before, but also welcome our new children who have never been.
It's going to be a fantastic year!
