We had put objects in a row and touch each one to find the total.
We found sticks in the woods at school and have ordered them from biggest to smallest. We then played with them–jumping and using them as hockey sticks, jack-hammers and rakes.
Reception have been enjoying the colder weather by making some ice sculptures. We left some objects and materials in water overnight and as it was so cold, the water froze and we were left with some lovely pieces of artwork. We then watched them as they melted during the day.
Today we made the parts for our gingerbread houses ready for the Winter Wonderland event and our Gingerbread Village. We followed a recipe and measured all the ingredients; it was lots of fun and very messy!. Thank you to all the Mums, Dads, Nannys and Grandads that came to help, it was very much appreciated. I don’t know who had more fun…the adults or the children! We look forward to seeing your creations soon.
