Teaching Assistant Required

Temporary – one year in the first instance

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our successful team as soon as possible, for one year in the first instance. The successful candidate will work with a young person with complex needs within our EYFS/KS1 team. You will help them to thrive in a positive, nurturing and safe environment, whilst working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to raise the learning and attainment of pupils within the class and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. 

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Work well as part of team
  • Model positive relationship in their interactions with others (pupils, staff and parents)
  • Be committed to ensuring the right of every child to be included, accepted, and valued
  • Be able use their own initiative but also understand the importance of following school policies/procedures.
  • Have a love of learning and interest in developing their own practice
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding.
