Thursday 7th June – International Dance Day
All the children got to take part in an International Dance Day today. They explored different dance styles from cultures around the world. Check out our moves!
GB Athlete visits St. John’s
GB athlete and 3000m Steeplechase British Champion Iona Lake visited St. John’s last week. She spent time with classes discussing her grueling training regime and sharing her journey to get to the level she competes at today.
Her visit to the school not only helped to raise the aspirations of our young people but also inspired them to chase their dreams and never give up.
During the day the children got to take part in question and answer sessions with Iona as well as cross country and running workshops. See below for a few photographs from the day.
